GOM Video Converter Guide

- GOM Video Converter's main window is organized in the following manner.

- 1. Configurations
- Opens the 'Configurations' window that allows you to configure your GOM Video Converter preferences.

- 2. Conversion List
- Files currently on the conversion list will be displayed in this area. Various information such as play time, file name, file type, and the file's location is provided.

- 3. Add
- This button lets you add files to the conversion list. (You can also drag and drop files onto the main window to add them.)

- 4. Delete / Delete All
- Use these buttons to remove files from the list. Clicking the [Delete] button will remove the file you currently have highlighted, while the [Delete All] button will removed every file from the list.

- 5. Conversion List Order Controls
- These four buttons let you control the order in which files are arranged on the conversion list. From left to right, the buttons allow you to [Move selected files to the top of the list], [Move selected files up 1 space], [Move selected files down 1 space], and [Move selected files to the bottom of the list].

- 6. File Info.
- This button will launch GOM Reader and display more detailed information about the files you have selected.

- 7. Source Info.
- Various information about the selected source file (input file) such as name, format, play time, file size, codec information, size, bit rate, frame rate, and audio sample rate is displayed in this area. (For additional information about bit rate, codecs, and frame rate, please refer to our 'Glossary of Terms' page.)

- 8. Output Info.
- Information about the converted video (output file) such as name, format, play time, file size, codec information, size, bit rate, frame rate, and audio sample rate is displayed here. This information is based on the current output settings. (For additional information about bit rate, codecs, and frame rate, please refer to our 'Glossary of Terms' page.)

- 9. Preview / Set Segment
- Preview a video on the conversion list, specify a section to convert, and fine tune some audio and subtitle settings.

- 10. Preset Settings
- Click this button to bring up the 'Manage Presets' window that allows you to choose a conversion preset for a specific device (such as iPod or PSP).

- 11. Settings
- Open the 'Output Settings' window that lets you configure your conversion preferences.

- 12. Output Folder
- Indicates where your converted files are currently being saved.

- 13. Select Destination Folder
- Choose where you want you converted files to be saved.

- 14. Open
- Open the folder where your converted files are currently being saved.

- 15. Start
- Click this button to start converting.
